Dubai Service Jam

The Service Jam is a community workshop hosted globally where creatives meet together and "jam" on the basis of a secret theme and create something extraordinary. For this service jam, the theme was "Build:Re:Build". In teams of 5, we worked together to find a problem statement, ideate a solution, and build a crazy prototype all in the span of 6 hours. It was an exciting day, and a great way to recharge our creative juices. We were surrounded by many designers such as service designers, graphic designers, and content strategists.

The problem statement we finalized was "How might we use technology for sustainable architectural development?". To solve this problem, we decided to develop a service through an AI-driven application that helps builders, and contractors evaluate their waste material and sell it to other industries to recycle or upcycle their waste. The product would allow not only sustainable development but also improve the green footprint for most companies.

This project was a collaboration between

Naqiyah Mustafa, Abdul Aziz, Almas, Dharini Karunakaran & Rinad.
